Every now and then, you might have to restore/format your pc and in the process you might lose valuable docs and photos. You can save all the headache basically creating an extra partition for your docs/pics.



Just move your my documents and other docs and pics to that partition (Lets call it E drive) and you never have to worry about losing any files.

Next time you need a restore just format C and all the files on E drive stays safe.

Its a fairly easy practice but very few follow.
