similar to half life 2 in that respect, except no one has really continued down their route bar the odd flash in the pan, most notably Half Life 3, (or at least it is very late despite the promises of episodic content being more regular) thinking games are harder to shift for obvious reasons. The multiplayer market has stagnated the genre massively.
