So just saw online this is going to be on Xbox One only. I'm looking forward to it but most games that are exclusive to Xbox end up on other platforms either as is or for the next sequel so who knows if it will remain Xbox One only |

Square Enix moaned that the reboot didn't sell enough....so they make it an exclusive. Great logic there. Microsoft throwing their money around in desperation... I doubt it will work either.

They'll be moaning about terrible sales about 2 months after it launches then it'll come to PS4 and PC and sell 3 times as much. It's r*tarded to make your game Xbox One exclusive these days.

It'll be a timed exclusive I bet. Square enix complained that tomb raider didn't sell well!?..did they meet their expectations on that lightning returns cr*p!. |

Well the first game was good but I don't understand why they re-released it again as it wasn't the biggest game anyway and didn't have too much replay value IMO

So they want it to get back to the top of the tree (they said) by making it a exclusive and run against Uncharted (rolls_eyes) .....Multi player is a glitchy mess these days anyway and allowing sp*wn zones reachable for the enemy,,feck em

I can't see why MS would pay all that money to cover the lost sales on other platforms, plus more (like for the cost to the franchise in the future when gamers who have missed out on a game aren't as interested in the next in the series), many, many millions of pounds for console exclusivity. It's gotta be timed. If it's not timed then I think it's just a complete waste of money and at the end of the day it's the xbox owners that will suffer as there is less money being spread around on games, because it all went to buy rights for Tomb Raider.
