I'm currently playing Octopath Traveler and it has random encounters, turn-based combat and tactical battles. You can not spam A and hope everything dies. Also the bosses have tons of HP too. And it is NOT grindy if you manage your money ok, you should not buy all the equips in a new town etc. Because they offer things that are way out of your league on your first visit. + it is a Square-Enix release...

Well, so far i'm liking what i'm seeing in the pixel remaster collection. This is also the first time we get FF3 in ''classic'' mode, because they remade it for Nintendo DS back in the days.

I have 1 to 16 across my PS1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 and gameboy DS I still REALLY wanted the pixel remasters but they are crazy expensive and just couldn't justify it

i now have 1 to 9 +12 on switch. Not interested in owning 10 ... i don't have the gba remakes and only got 6 on psone and 3 on NDS so to me there is enough ''new'' content. The price was a bit high, but not too high imo. Etrian Odyssey HD Collection is more expensive. It is around 33EUR a pop, while FF PR games are 21EUR per game ...

i'm torn between 7 and 9... Though i've completed only 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 ... So it could change after i beat 1 to 5 .

I give the FF1 pixel remaster a solid 8/10 (bosses apart from the last one were sadly pushovers)

FF2 Pixel Remaster gets also 8/10 from me. It was slightly different because there were no character levels, but all stats, skills and weapons had their own. Last Boss had relatively low hp, but he stole a ton of hp from you with a single hit. (even 4000! ouch.)
