This is for all the experts in here. Does replacing you stock airfilter to eg. Simota or KN really make you save on fuel seeing that this is my biggest concern nowadays with the fuel prices going up and stuff? |

Not sure about fuel, but can def make some cars run leaner , which can engine , as messes with airflow meter etc! But great throttle response , I'd cut holes in your airbox below your filter so air still gets filtered but get nice induction noise;)

Thanx dawg, but Im not really concerned about sounds and power and stuff, nowadays u cnt really worry bout speed and stuff coz theres speed traps evrywhere u go, my greatest concern is the fuel prices its gna have a massive effect on us for the upcoming months

Well it'll save fuel by running leaner, but some cars this can damage them, to be honest, pop to dealer, ask service to talk to tecci n ask. Best u can do to save fuel/ new plugs clean dissi points n rotor arm points with wet n dry n see if car needs tuned? As this will make clean spark n efficient use of fuel, but if not tuned maybe running rich? Check exhaust n if black rather than grey, means

Grey xaust? Dude unleaded burns black, havnt seen a grey xaust since leaded was outlawd. Technically a filter wil save u juice but ur foot wil now b heavyr due2 the nice throttle response
