And about Windows 7 and XP, the former is best for new hardware, the later for older. There are apps XP cannot run, also there are apps 7 cannot run. Whatever, I started with Vista(d*mn slow) and soon switched to Windows 7. Just used XP in cyber cafes and friend's laptops which were replaced by 7 later by me. lol

Let me tell you a funny thing... I've deleted a lot of files (really a lot) from my phone's hidden folders using mobimb (I kept backup copies of all the files though).... Then what happened was really unbelievable and funny... The phone function has become significantly faster than before... Most noticeable was in the music player... Before, when the music update finished, it took a long time to start saying STARTING MUSIC PLAYER... But now it starts in a few seconds....

Some other amazing changes are image processing become quicker after snaps, memory card and java opening time reduced, theme thumbnail appearance and preview is faster.... So overall phone speed has increased significantly.... I dont know how and why it happened but it made my day....lol

But please ''DONT DO IT YOURSELF WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT YOU ARE ACTUALLY DELETING''..... What I had done could have made my phone dead forever coz the C drive of the phone have some critical system files without which the phone cannot even startup... I've posted it only to share the happenings and it may not be same case on yours....

Bro You can't delete all the system files of phone. Only files that can be deleted can be. So no harm in doing this.

Yes thats right but there are still some deletable files which are used by the system itself.... Btw, which is better for phone filesystem browsing between mobimb and oxycube?...
|
||

@shrihars | 27 August 10 |
I have never got chance for using oxycube. You've your own pc download oxycube and try yourself.

I'm afraid oxycube is not a freeware... :(
