@sunando all phones in s60v5 series are totally buggy and useless eg. 5800xm,X6,etc and also s3 is just a improved version of s60v5 and it haves no special hardware requirements, so instead of releasing s60v5 releasing s60v3 and s3 devices or just s3 devices as low-end is better.

Future s3 updates will bring qt ui and tweaks, so its obivious it will function fine even on low-end hardware as ARM11 600Mhz cpu with atleast 200mb ram, so they can obiviously make low-end s3 devices.

Or they can just trash the wp then put MeeGO in high-end,Symbian3 in mid-end, and still s40 in low-end, and everybody will be happy

You said, 'they must install some OS...'. If you want to call that phone S40 then, there must be a Java OS. If there is no any Java OS and they installed another OS on it e.g. Symbian, Android etc. then it won't be called 'S40' phone.

Yeah.. It'll be great if they made high quality apps and games. But price should not be higher otherwise no one will buy them.
