its a common firmware problem. just ask the shop to ugrade your firmware for you

To the post writer wat network ya on n wat phone you got. Only askin cause a had a o2 x1i phone n when it was runnin low ov cred it switched itself off n when a turned bk on it'l do the same thin lol. A phoned o2 n told em about it dat's all this guy told me all o2 phones do it n it because ov no cred n da cheeky git said it like a car wit no fuel it wont  start. Lmao.

Inter. Memory full also does that. Free some memory and see if still does.if still then shop's the only way

mines does that its a sagem myv 56. I've taken it back and i'm now on the 4th replacement and its doing the same so this ones going back to. I just want my momney back but they won't give me it arghhhh

To the guy who lost proof of purchase : if it is a vodacom fone take it to a vodacom shop they scan the imei and if your 2year warranty is still valid they will fix it

This is a very common fault with nokias. I own 2 nokias, which both crash like this occasionally, and a previous one did it loads and i got it reflashed. A firmware upgrade will usually fix it, if u can be bothered to send it off. Tho i guess if u got a pc and data cable u can flash it yrself?

I have all the repair documents and the reciept and they just won't give me a refund. would the vodafone shop reflash it if i asked them? x

Normally to get a nokia reflashed u got to send it to a nokia service centre. Or theres companies do 'debranding' which is basically reflashing. I've never heard of it being done while u wait, tho i suppose it can be done. Anyone know if this is done?

Had mine done while at shop. Wos told not to keep my memory on my phone full up with videos and mp3 as can make your phone flashout e.g turn off.. Try using your memory card to store stuff on..
