They should contact a human rights lawyer chances are they will do it for free, as for Australian? I don't see what difference that makes, our success rate ain't great, there are still a few Aussies on death row in Bali, think right now only begging the Indonesian president for mercy can help them

i'm sick of all criminals. not just the crimes they commit but the attitude that you can affect someone else negatively because of your selfish attitude. how dare they. and to top it all the average person who plods along making an honest living is asked to feel sorry for them. enough is enough. i could probably sentence someone to death for just petty theft. just to get rid of the garbage.

@ kimjongl - 6.09.12 - 09:43pm well i'm pro death penalty so this punishment works for me. its like Indonesia is doing our governments job for them. Then if there is enough support for the death penalty in south Africa implement it campaign for it, in the mean time don't let others do the dirty work for you, for south Africa will be seen as not only not able to proper police it self but don't give a d*mn about it's own citizens too, what does that say about a country |

The last poll I heard was 85pc in favour of it. But the politics of getting it back would be near impossible. |

Darwinism in action. Just how stoopid do ppl have to be to smuggle drugs thru such countries that are so well known for harsh penalties. There are any number of countries where such penalties are not so harsh and drugs just as or even more available. At some point this thicko made a concious decision to risk her life for profit. Know that SHE made that choice. SHE chose to risk her life for that profit , so...she lost. Whether the law is fair, just, humane , civilised, no matter. Her choice!

a drug runner is not the person you want to catch. you want the nigerian that is paying the runner. in a lot of cases the drugrunner is forced to smugle by meens of blackmail. so set the ultimatum die or give us your dealer
