Im over it. s**t like that will just keep going on if the worlds so called moderate islamic states dont do anything about it. What is happening in Mali is absolutely appalling but hey they are ''not following islam'' so the problem is automatically someone elses. The someone else is the poorly equipt and highly corrupt african union or the great satan of the UN, who of course will be looked at as invaders and terrorists by the worlds 'moderate' muslims.

Or we just let these semi evolved man monkeys publicly flog woman for having the audacity to give street directions to a vastly superior in every way male. Could say what I really think, but I think you get the general idea

In the Mali case? Both the African union and any moderate islamic countrys. Its their religion that is being stereo typed here. And the African Union because if they dont do anything about it then the rot will spread, even though I have no confidence they will be capable of doing anything.

@ jlh1182 - 20.01.13 - 01:48am dgsn could u plz just explain why its any moderate islamic country's responsibility? The concept of ummah. The fact that if a non muslim country like France interferes they will be labbled the aggressor and part of this global war against islam, always told that non muslim countrys have no right to interfere, its their religion being dragged through the mud. Probably more capable than the AU |

The rise and rise of Islamic extremism is an Islamic issue. Not the infidels problem.

Probably dosnt matter to most. Just more s**tty problems caused by s**tty people in the name of some s**tty religion. Its just so common it breeds nothing but apathy.

Probably more capable than the AU this is interesting because theres only a few islamic states and even fewer who actually support terrorist groups in africa, if france is really protecting ppl i support them but what is france really doing there? And what moderate muslim do u know that can take down a terror cell? I would put good money down that if all muslims rejected the faction they would still exist.. |

The Malian rebels formed part of Gaddafi's squad to quash Lybian rebels, they failed and headed back to Mali with the ammunition that Gaddafi's regime gave them. They started gaining momentum to oust the Malian government (I'm not sure if the Malian government is democratic or not) and spread strict Islamic rule there, Taliban style, so the west got worried that it will open a new front of Bin Laden style groups, that's why they intervened

France is there because it is a former colony, your question ''but what is France really doing there'' is the reason why they shouldnt be. How do moderates take down terror cells? No quick fixes but education education education. Yes they may still exist but they wont form armys that can and do take over half a country and impose their own laws.
