you read wrong photon,the N78 is the one without 3rd hardware acceleration. Acuron,lets wait and see,but IMO rather a HTC who have more experience

Gtr1, when yot actually use a wm device, you'll find it just as unstable and buggy as s60, if not more so, i've used both, i prefer s60 although wm has it's good points too

gtr1 hates S60 with a passion,if he found WM to be worse he would never admit it

yep N96 is nt confermed to have 3D hardware acceleration yet. Im nt a developer so dnt thnk i cn comment on that,maybe in the bigger symbian forums there wil be more developers who cn say

I agree with don_won here, developers for symbian? What are they developing!? lmao. Bottom line, the title s60 vs PDA's ... it must be PDA, they have a touchscreen first, nobody mentioned that, and that it's not something to forget, plus the OS: Windows Mobile, Linux, let's say Palm too. Superior to S60. And that's the bottom line.

Don't mix the hardware and software platforms. Agree, they are connected. It seem that the best PDAphone at this moment is Nokia E90. Personal I don't like the concept of Communicator models.

The best PDAphone with WM is HTC TyTN II. Interesting is Toshiba Portege G900. It have a good ratio performance/price. Also HTC Trinity

I preffer the combimation phone plus pda. I use a Nokia 6290 plus Dell Axim 51 v (powerfull hardware 3D accelerator) plus Jentro BTGPS8

Ye but N80 is like 3yearsold now,im busy using mine nw while my N81 is charging. And the N80 def doesnt get as much signal as my N81, also considering the N81's antenna sits at the bottom part of the device where your palm sits when holding it,yet N80's antenna is at the top of the device.

you said yourself you haven't grief wm6. sayinhg you hsve trird wm means nothing unless you have tried the latest wm os. its like saying ive tried symban and its buggy because it was a nokia 6600 running s60 v1 so all symbian phones are wriddled with bugs. its common sense, if you haven't experienced something you can not have an objective opinion
