@ alvar89 - 8.03.16 - 07:28am You really dont want to admit you actually understand that Christians believe Jesus was fully man and fully God two natures. You keep pulling it to look He bleed and died so He couldnt be God etc thats just adding stuff to our belief you gotta use what we actually believe. Jesus was flesh and bone feeling pain, emotions evrything a human does. Hes human nature even had the ability to die as scripture says. If you read up in the NT you see He put aside His divine nature to become the servant to carry out the rescue mission. Philippians 2:5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,[a] 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant,[b] being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. But i know you will diss Paul as you do with John and actually the whole bible picking what suits your way. i understated very well the excuses christians have made to excuse the human behavior of jesus. its the only way you can make your very own god from the god of the jews. but you see you claim he is also fully god. while claiming he emptied himself of all godliness to become a servant. so we see if he is fully god then the claim that a god was influenced by human emotions because he was also human, must be a lie because he was fully god. there are humans in this world that did not have any god part to them at all. and have faced death triumphantly. because its the spirit of the man that deals with the bodies emotions. not the emotions that tell the spirit how to be. you simply claim jesus was week spirited. |

but even the claim that jesus was week in spirited does not count for his anguish. because he knew this was his destiny before creation as you so claim. so this was a time of rejoice. the final fulfillment. no he feared because he didnt know he could not die because of resurrection

@ alvar89 - 8.03.16 - 07:47am If ppl were reading the bible the right way without interpreting the way to look bad that wouldnt be the case. Gods word has deeper meanings not just read in flesh and without corresponding with the whole book and authors way of writing. Its easy to prove most read without looking into it to find the reason behind and correct interpretation. Ppl waste there time comparing evolution theory to genesis 1 and i was in the same boat also wasting my time as i didnt know enough. Galileos quote the bible teaches us how to get to heaven not teach us how the heavens go got me. I later found out genesis 1 is in original language a poem all parrallel etc painting a picture easy to understand and memorize how it began. Also its full of prophecy. Also if you read the whole book back and forth you get the real interpretations especially if you dig in the mindset of the authors and original language. My favourite example still is Jesus cursing the fig tree. If you just plain read it without knowing what a fig tree symbolizes and what was actually going on you end up with thinking how could He not know it wasnt the season to give fruit. What it actually was was a demonstration showing Israel not bearing fruit and therefor cursed. Ppl can play all they want with scripture but there really is only one true way of reading it its reading it eyes opened by the Holy Spirit. Its proven by apostles how they just couldnt understand things untill pentecost then the revelations in scripture began. there is no interpretation in the scripture of gods mass murder. or the foolishness in the garden. or the blind arrogance of claiming one people the chosen. there is only one way to read the bible and thats without the blindfolds. for example if the fig tree incident did not happen as it is read then it is not a book of truth. never does jesus claim its a parable for israel, just turns it into a power of faith speech. unlike the parable in luke. |

@ alvar89 - 8.03.16 - 07:49am Braveness and true understanding came on pentecost you can see it clearly Jesus told them to wait for Him. yet you claim god was standing in there presence all that time. would you cower if you knew you were standing in the presence of God? |

Luke 9:22 And he said, The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. |

@ manszar - 9.03.16 - 06:49am you must have missed this one. so you think jesus only gave them one commandment? If you read my previous texts you see i pointed all commandments were given not that one. I also said its not that one because its singular and He said plural. |

They didnt understand fully before pentecost. John 14:9 Jesus answered: Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? |

Cant just jump in a translated text 2000 years later of cultural change and ways of composing literature without first getting on terms of those things. Have to get into the minds of the authors and know what was common to them. Without learning jewish roots there is no real way of getting to the details. Untill then the standard english text shows us overall what to do to get to God. |

Biblical text is to be meditated on and deeply researched to mature in the understanding of God. Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. |

@ obi_jon - 9.03.16 - 09:31am The only way to read the bible is as fiction. I presume you think its fiction based on the amount of supernatural events recorded in it. It seems fictional when you think there is no supernatural Creator who can do things other ways not known to us in our commonly seen natural world. If you believe in a Creator it makes sense believing in other ways for things to work were not used to seeing. Wouldnt have been anything special if Jesus just swimmed instead of walking on water. No lesson would of been learned nor sign of Him doing it by the power of God. If He swimmed we would of said no He has the power from Himself to stay floating not God holding you up by your faith in Him etc. Also without God getting those animals all nicely on the ark without them also eating eatchother doesnt make sense. But scripture says God brought those animals and even closed the door that way it makes sense perfectly knowing He as the Creator of those beings can also control them. |

The wrong interpretation and positioning God leads to that conclusion. If i were to say oh life saw this group of wicked evil ppl polluting and devouring all that is good as an obstacle better to be rremoved for the sake of others it doesnt irritate ppl. But when you say God did it there the biased versions against it start flooding in. |

@ obi_jon - 9.03.16 - 05:03pm Nah, it's because of all the dragons and stuff in it. By the way, it's kangaroos. Most of them were called like that by ancient ppl because the word dinosaur was invented in 19th century. Those illustrations are overdone also. Giant is actually nephilim etc not as big as cartoon giants because the height is mentioned in the bible Ogs bed 9 cubits about 4m. If you look into all ancient carvings etc there were bigger than normal ppl all around. Again to the point of belief in a supernatural Creator makes it no problem in believing He did a miracle thru that donkey. |
