Open iTunes click to add files once done, connect your phone, in film and video click sync all videos or just the particular file, then click apply and wait for sync to finish and voila

things would be a lot simpler if the iphone had a memory card slot! Then all you would need to do is convert to the correct video format on your computer, transfer them to a memory card an shove that in your phone. iphones are oh so restricted in so many ways, which is why ive never understood why people think they are so amazing. Whats more With android you wouldnt even need to convert the video format in most cases, vlc can play most formats and samsung phones play most video formats by default anyway

Well, if you talk about effort then transferring media files over iTunes is as good as mounting a memory card on an android device and then transferring files. Also the restrictions you're talking about, actually makes the platform much more secure. This is the reason why there are no viruses available for iOS and Android is the most virus infested mobile platform on the planet. VLC player is available on iOS as well, so technically if people want to play some other format of video, they can.

ios is more secure I agree, but you know ive been using android since the days of the first HTC google phone, and in all that time I have never had one single virus or malware, so what I want to know is what people are doing to get them? I suspect many think you dont need anti virus on a phone? Either way ive had no issues therefore I dont feel the need to opt for ios. And return for that iam able to enjoy a more open and customisable experiance.

At the end of the day it's a personal choice. I've tried many high end android devices from time to time and every model failed to deliver on consistency and stability. Having said that, if I wanna use Android as my daily driver I'll only go for nexus devices.

ive never had any stability problems, but I guess everyone has different experiances. but I dont jailbreak or do anything unofficial like so many people on here do, and while iam not saying you do, what iam saying is I dont! my motto is if it aint broke why fix it?

I don't jailbreak anymore since a good few years now. The stock OS performs fine for me.

Go download iTools, note: it's iTools not iTunes !! It's a free software (windows based). You 'll be to import video/ music/ pictures/ apps with it without any stress. It's 2 mb software I think. That's what I use. And another thing, if you try to sync with iTunes, it will erase all what you transferred via iTools.

Hi,just check d top left corner of ur iTunes,u should see a column with features like(add file to library or folder to library),jus click on file if it a single file,if it's multiple u jus create a folder or move them in a folder u already hav in ur pc,next jus add the file or folder using iTunes,if it dnt show then probably thy are not supported formats for iPhone,in this case try using a very good video converter to convert the videos into supported formats...u can look up the supported video formats on google, thanks.
