Sorry mate, I should have made it more clear. Look at Version in About. If you want to jailbreak gow to www.jailbreakme.com in your phones browser and follow the instructions. If you don't have the right FW to jailbreak the site will tell you.

Install/open Cydia, go to the Manage tab, Sources, click edit, click add, enter http://cydia.hackulo.us/ , click add anyway and then done. Tap on the source you just added and install Installous.

Technically, jailbreaking will void your warranty but as long as your phone is not completely dead, you will be able to restore and should have no problems if you have any issues that need fixing under warranty. It's nothing to really worry about, most people if not everyone here jailbreaks their iDevice.

If you're on the latest FW, 4.3.5 and have never jailbroken the device before, you will not be able to jailbreak or get cracked apps.
