Is it just me or is Cell C just whoopin and taking names. At first it was the 99cents a minute call, not to only cell c but to every other network INCLUDING selected international countries. Add to that the fact that since this month the data is 0.15cents in and out of bundle. 50mb is R7.50 and R15 will get you 100MB. now thats ayoba. |

Exactly.....Vodakak needs to take action soon, or they will become obsolete.....I think they are collecting money thru dropped calls etc etc......it will have to be a HUGE comeback, everyone including myself can't wait to see how they will save their failing infrastructure........In the meantime, Cellc and 8ta rocks!!....

yeah 3G is probably still fine but I'm using my friends mtn uncapped modem, its not bad if you don't mind an average of 40kbps after your 3gig softcap

I switched over to 8ta on prepaid bis, videos from youtube runs smooth on my playbook (Os2.0) Downloading @300 kb/s on plabook average.....Seems 8ta is currently the best option.....

@ungers,8ta erected new towers here by us and now the internet is really booming 24/7,on my pc with usb modem my average is about 280KB/s which is awesome and at night even beter.As soon as 8ta's towers are all sorted you will see how they're gonna white wash the other networks.I'm really impressed!Best of all,there is still no sign of throttling on BIS either.I just love these guys

I was talking to this guy who is responsible for erecting 8ta tower sites and he told me that 8ta is the current best network. I wasnt convinced given the cell c current upward trend. I guess he was telling the truth then.

@kid,yes he's right,8ta is the best at the moment and it will probably stay that way for a long time if not always.They are working really hard to improve on signals and internet speed and are doing an awesome job,I can't complain for one moment

well if you look at 8ta in overall,their internet is certainly the best,their call rates are very good and the service is good too plus no throttling on BIS,what more do you want?

oh and the other nice thing about 8ta is if you're on prepaid you get 1 minute free for every 3 minutes you talk,very nice.Just a pitty I'm on contract lol
