Sialkot incident:.... Very very sad and shameful incident. The way two brothers were brutalized to death is a dark chapter in our national history. Whether they were culprits or not, street justice is not the solution. Here we feel dire need of an effective prosecution and judicial system which can provide justice to people. Otherwise, people will get used to this kind of street justice.

Our judicial system is more than a half century old. It was inhereted from the British. The British created this system to protect their vested interests. No doubt, it provided justice to a common man but not beyond the comfort level of the then British rulers. Anyways, we got freedom more than a century before. But the prosecution and judicial system kept serving the rulers, now Pakistanis!
