i'v not read thru the whol topic so i may well be repeatin somethin already brought up..my friend has written a short childrens story,n i have done illustrations for it.she spoke to a publisher who told her to send complete story and illustrations on a disc to him, so we sent it off..but then he said he never received it. if we send it to other publishers should we send it as a complete thing?or jus a sample of it

I love to write, i have books of poetry, short storys and over da last few yrs i have written a few childrens books about a dolphin called dilly, have never showed anyone, its just my hobby, except my petry i hads 2 poems published in an encyclapedia of poems i america afew yrs ago and ive recentky sey up a poem page on bebo called enchanted-eyes.bebo.com (check it out if u can)

Mage15 Like the Eddings books. Have pretty much read all of them! Targetf most publishers prefer samples of your work. most publishers have writer's guidelines posted on their websites so check them out they normally tell you how to go about submitting to them. Good luck with it!

that one was good. I think the first one in the belgariad(sp) series is the best. Although that's most probably because it was the first one i read :).

Submitted 4 of my short stories recently. It's been ages since I've submitted any.
