the only movie that was made from a game was street fight (the manga version) the rest have been s**t so i cant see halo being anything special and by the time it comes out people wont care anymore. i mean look at how soon people forgot about halo3.

The reason theyve been s**t is cause theyve had s**t directors that no-ones heard of. Look at comic book movies and their directors. X-men had brian singer, spiderman had sam raimi, batman had tim burton, batman begins had chris nolan. But then look at the not as gr8 ones, xmen 3 had brett ratner, fantastic four had...err and ghost rider had...dunno lol. But the cast matter aswell...

For example you dont cast vinnie jones as juggernaut. Vin DIESEL would have been better. You dont cast nicholas cage as ghost rider and make it a comedy (i laughed all thru it) you cast the bloke who plays sawyer in lost a make it a dark gothic horror. Crow meets hellboy kinda thing. But casting john 117 dont matter cause he's in the armour the whole time. But the director matters...

Someone with the vision of peter jackson, the heart of spielburg, the knowledge of great action like michael bay. Someone like george lucas lol. End of the day halo dosent need heart or political messages or a cryptic plot. Its about one mans journey to stop and 2 alien species from destroyin the galaxy. Only one hidden love story aswell and thats the chief and cortana but even thats not vital...

Just as long as you got the UNSC killing the covenant and the flood killing everyone with the chief caught in the middle on a ringworld and have non stop action and some terror aswell, then u got a halo movie. And if u think halo is forgotten about ur sadly mistaken. Halo will live on for aslong as 1 big group of people meet up weekly for a halo championship.
