oh lord i do believe some resolution is needed here ok let me address the issue first hand of the built in MAUI BROWSER.. this is a small and extremely lite browser it normally set to WAP/WAP 2.0..can the settings change yes BUT ONLY IN THE ENGINEERING MODE!!! *ANY CHANGES IN EM WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY AND DATA LOSS SO AT UR OWN RISK*..CON'TD

before any changes however pls consider this option try downloading opera mobile :)..currently the china phones i'v tested all version of opera for java midlet(jadjar) seems to be in running order except the samsung china makeshift:( i've got no clue there..

NOW EM MODE..(a complete list l8r ive just woke ).. on keypad press (no physical keypad bring up the screen keypad..) *223356..*336466..*996600..*456587.. again to remind you any changes ur own risk.. now that we are in EM MODE where to go .. no worries select MISC ..select GPRS or WAP ID.. here u not only can change the desired wap coding but the type of browsed ur phone id uses,download speed and SIZE..

a trusted certificate is a java signed program that enables your browser to view pages.. you can download new certificate but necessary most browsers are auto updated
