Simply put, Daniel Craig was an excellent choice and has reinvigorated a cliched and dated franchise.

Revanex he has zero charisma and average looks. Connery and Dalton came closest to getting it right.

He is playing a woman worshipping 21st century man. His is as much an interpretation of the source material as any other actor who has played Bond. Yet unlike the others Craig does not play up those aspects of Bond that help him to shine as a male lead. He is overreaching. As Dirty Harry said a mans got to know his limitations.
