Nice list, the first half of exorcism of Emily rose before the whole trial scene was absolutely terrifying. And I'm glad to see someone else got scared by paranormal activity too.

Well that's like your opinion. The movie focuses on the psychological side of horror, and throughout the film, the environment, probably due to the low budget, seems extremely subtle and realistic. It's almost far more realistic than all those other garbage mainstream horror films coming out these days, with focus specifically on gore or blood. The film was truly creepy, and some scenes were genuinely scary, even an avid horror movie fan should admit that. It's the kind of movie in which almost everyone can imagine it happening. I honestly don't understand the hate, I really loved this film, and it kept me up all night when I first watched it...

@ xxzeroxx - 25.12.13 - 12:29pm IT wa scary.... Dragonfly gave me goosebumps. Nighmare on Elm street was a good (the first 2) The shining (original Kubrick, with Jack Nicolson, not the cr*ppy remake) The cr*ppy remake was written by the guy that wrote the book and followed the book a lot more. kubrick was a hack director that stole over peoples ideas and tried to make them his own. if it wasn't for the cast of his version of the shining it would have been really cr*p. same goes with all he's movies. |

Its the atmosphere and tension in so called scary movies that get to me, blood n guts, violence in movies don't scare me at all. I saw a movie starring John Hurt called 'Whistle And I'll Come To You' ..that scared the bejeezus out of me.
