Wow! Thats 1 impressive Rig specially for a Chick (No offence) But u should of gone for Corsair ram n Antec 1200 case! Also make sure all ya parts are going to fit in the case, my 5870 fits in my Antec 1200 with an inch to spare.. Dunno if the 5970 is bigger or not but its 2 5870's in 1 card

hope you have some fans for the TRUE, hope you got the right mounting kit. it sounds like you may not even have the right board tho ![]() |

omg this is a laugh xD Bragging about this killer system she's gonna get, and then hear the cpu wont fit the mobo ![]() |

i would also like to see you fit 12GB of memory onto your system. what is that? three 4Gb modules? triple channel? but the CPU is only dual channel. maybe six 2Gb modules? still triple channel, and the TRUE is a huge cooler. do the modules even fit on the board under the TRUE if they fill six slots and have heatspreaders.... ![]() |

Im not quite sure why anyone would want 12Gb memory, even on a tri channel X58 setup. but if you have a P55 board then it actually is 2 x 6

the TRUE is ok as a passive cooler, but for overclocking it needs fans! and you need to check it actually has the correct mount kit for an X58 board. you might as well send half of that memory back as well and spend it on a better board than that asrock IMO......but hey

asrock x58 ? hmmm... i smell trouble... other than that.. everything what spartan said ![]() |

i think you spent too much money on the memory, not enough on the board, which is basically the thing that hold it all together.....you bought a single large drive where a pair in RAID would be faster and as cheap, or even a small SSD on that budget would make sense. The graphics i wouldnt have bought until next month. other than that ![]() |
