something happened with my memory card, it suddenly requires a password , is there any way of removing the password via pc or formatting it? |

you can just format the mem card directly by your phone. but if you format it you will loose all your data in it. good luck, an fo to a phone forum for this problem.. they will help you better!

thing is I can't do anything to my memory card from my phone so it needs to be done from my pc, don't mind formatting it

something happened as in one moment it was working and the next my phone said memory card removed pleae insert a new one so I out it in another phone cause the error kept appearing and it said insert password...any way around it or just to format and reset the whole thing? the phone forum doesn't seem to have any answers

formatting your card wont help the password is set via the phone it will still ask for a password after formatting the card. if you have a symbian use your browser and search of a txt file thats named password or mmc in it has the password you require which you then use to switch off the password prompt from your phone....hope that helps, blah!

How can software with use of other software eg deleting the mft or overwriting data make a mmc useless? Take the card. Stuck it in card reader and wipe it. Problem solved
