Hello guys, I am facing problem while downloading torrent s to my external sd card . Download starts but after few sec error pops up saying permission denied. I have tried many torrent clients. Can anyone reply with solution. My phone is sgs4 i9500 kitkat |

is the torrent on a private tracker ? it most likely is.. search for another version of it elsewhere like extratorrent or kickass...

No its not, on internal sd it download work s but not on external sd card .I have a feeling that kit kat update change ed something

It's the Android version. Android 4.4 KitKat does not allow apps to Write to External Storage, so your Torrent app is being blocked from saving to your SD Card. Rather let the torrent download into your Internal mem then after it's done, go to Samsung's built-in File Manager and move the file to SD Card.

that's a bizarre change of affairs, why have a memory card at all if no apps are allowed to write to it..?? there should be some form of workaround for that on xda somewhere... |
