Hello guyz I need a budget and slim laptop that is also lightweight around 1.2Kgs and below. The screen size should be no more than 14 inches and no less than 12 inches on a widescreen. Processor should be a dual-core and 4gigs of Ram. Good battery life around 6hrs on lightweight use. It should not have a CD drive. A HDMI port is not a necessity but preferable. Which ones can you suggest? Thanks. |

It just weighs 1.8 Kg and the 50 dollars extra are worth of the quad core and dual graphics.

Less powerful laptops=cheaper=less metal needed for heatsinks=less weight. You can get a very rough idea of how powerful a brand new laptop is by the weight of it. I mean if you feel the weight of of a high end gaming laptop and compare it to a really cheapo laptop, you WILL notice the big difference.

The laptop is great but the battery is so tiny...4 cell? I have listed it for consideration. Thanks.

Most dual core laptops running Windows have 2 or 3 GB RAM on Shelf. You should probably search in your local market. There's a big difference in prices online and local stores.
