switch to a better network, improve the quality of your signal, use wifi, turn off other access point using apps, and dont excessively multitask during the download and convince others on your network not to use their fones while your downloading or do it in the middle of the night.

I'm using Opera Mini 6.5 , it downloads most files pretty quick except java applications . For java apps . it quits and launches my phones native browser for the download . it does the same for streaming video .

It's also available at BoostApps .com for java and symbian phones . Click the jad link since the send to phone option is only foe Boost/Nextel iden series phones only .

Try emptying ur fone memory of pics n mp3s n put then to ur memory card as your fone memory needs to be free of data apps also helps to speed up ur connections especially with opera apps try the 4.3 version its better than the 6.2 thats just been released :-D

I can get 66mb+ with ucweb in just 15-20 minutes wiv 3g connection, while with opera i can't, either connection timed out, or i must wait whole day, or it's just simply failed. Ucweb download is also faster. Chances you get corrupted files is smaller than oprah. I donloded 8mb debian file using opera and found it to be corrupted, wat waste of bandwith and time! |
