the best part was when he chose to go back to win 7 m.s issued him a new key so he now has a ligit version of win 7. reason for downgrade. to much potential spyware. so far ive found and blocked over 30 ring home ips by redirecting them via the hosts file to 127.0.0.1

So i installed the free upgrade and then did a fresh install and overall it feels broken compared to last inside build ,stuck with it for a few days and decided to go back to windows 7 as its just as fasy and not full of spyware . Dx12 games wont offer nothing new for a few years and by then all the security issues should have been fixed and the current hardware i have will be old anyways .

At least wait 6 months before you use it as your main OS, it'll still be free and probably not be broken by then and there will likely be a bunch of user made 'fixes' for various little bits...

It doesn't really matter to me if you already have Windows 10 now or not. Don't take it personally, that's just the way I am.

I'm using Win 10. Few issues but nothing major. Bought a new Skylake i7/mobo/DDR4, so needed to get a license from upgrading. Nice how MS made it so even people using Windows Loader can upgrade for free.

Nice . I was thinking going to skylake but settled for x99 and a 5820k as i wanted the extra cores . Going to stick with windows 7 as it seems more stable at the moment. I have seen windiws 7 keys for around 25 pounds online i would just get that and do the upgrade on the new system as stand alone w10 is wxpensive

Saw windows 8.1 pro for 18 euros on kinguin the other day cheap as bread for a pro version. I got mine from there also but it was a bit more back then. So far i love 10 all the new taskview and notifications bar are awesome.

How legit is that place though . I know people that pick up cheap windows keys on these questionable sites and a 6 months down the road the key is blacklisted

One more weird thing is that they upgraded my oem windows 8.1 pro into windows 10 pro retail version. Thats nice.

Dunno have bought a ton of games there also lately.

I read that it just sells keys for third partys and they dont actually own any of the keys on there site .A lott are purchased using stolen credit cards /paypal accounts and can take a few months for the keys to be blocked .

I hope its not the case for me. Would lose alot of games on steam alongside my windows
