I jumped on AMD also. Intel really screwed up with the ultra series. Got myself a ASUS proart x870e with a ryzen 9 9950x3d.

Quick tip for anyone looking to jump on AMD. Don't buy the 8 cores. They crippled the memory read and write on them. 12 and 16 core ones have 2 to 3 times faster cache and ram read writes.
