Adblock Plus is one of the most populardesktop browser extensions, but so far ithasn't had a real presence on mobile. I use the mother of all adblocks host file. with opera mobile it just shows various advert sized squares saying opera was unable to load this page blah blah where the ads would be. it also blocks a fair proportion of in app ads too.

check if you have popups blocked or not, a lot of sites open a new tab or window rather than loading the same page again when you click on something. I've had no problems getting onto any sites so far... |
