I thought the phone had to be rooted before you could take a screen shot I did it the other day by accident but don't know how I did it I've got a Samsung s3 I bought it second hand so it might be rooted I dunno?? Any help would be appreciated... Thanks in advance |

Press and hold both the Power button and the Home button together, you can also swipe across the screen with the palm of your hand if you have that enabled in the motions thing.

Yeah i think my phone must be rooted which is cool unless there is another way to enable you phone to take screen shots

volume and power button for 2 seconds works on my phone. I only found that out yesterday when i wanted to copy and paste something. Downloaded an app from the play store and it was in the instructions
