Ok, thats weird. Coheed have a hidden track on the 2nd album they released (in keeping secrets of silent earth: 3) called 2113! Thats too much of a coincidence.

ah gabriell, i forgot to say you....that i downloaded 14 Soft Machine's albums....i couldnt find a specific album_the Six_but i found a torrent file with 14 albums/lives, i think i have them all now

I would imagine it's Rush, because of what you've said about the band, they would have been asked a lot if they're influenced by Rush; Yes wouldn't be mentioned even. If you have lyrics frm the 2113 track that would help.

Hmm it doesnt seem to reference the album directly except for the 2113 thing, that MUST be a reference, it is too coincidental. Could just be that it's a musical tribute.

Yeah, i dont think it would be anything more than a little nod towards rush, if anything, cause the lyrics do fit with the CoCa story, and they wouldnt go outside of it for one song. Im defo gona check rush out though!

For a band that have such a strong idea of what they want to say, by the sounds of it, then maybe the little nod is the most theyd be able to do. But yeh, maybe checking out 2112 would be a start then! Even if theres no link to hear, be a great purchase anyhow
