If you can browse wap and internet then you can too use instant messenger service of 6230i. You just need to put in correct settings. I mean server, proxy and APN. Its not a network dependent service.

This may sound stupid but different people with different software versions have different answers to this. What happens if I connect a 6230i to a PC via a USB Cable without PC suite on WIN XP Pro?

@Shuvo Use PC Sute to install .jar files. And .jad is only a info file containing information about .jar file. So you can install .jads only via internet.

If I plug a Nokia standard charger in, my wife's 6230i says 'Not charging'. She has not used the cell for a while because she upgraded and I had to buy another 'no name' nokia charger because I just can't find the old one. Anybody als had this 'not charging' problem? Also my N73 charger (+adapter) does not work either. Does the 6230i uses some special voltage charger ?
