I'd be interested to hear another opinion on this 'ben', i may be alone in thinking it a brilliant album, but i can't hear anything wrong with it at all. ![]() |

I trust you lol...now: ''Alan Morse - Four O'clock And Hysteria''. Well, without many words, this album is rated by me 5 stars out of 5. A really good album, with beautiful compositions and great performances from all the musicians. Alan Morse is_at least_a very good guitarist and composer. I didnt know what to expect when i bought this album_his first solo album_i know him only from Spock's Beard. Well, this album is great, very good music in many styles, a fusion album.

A random review from Amazon.com: ''His playing in Spocks Beard is great, but I had no idea he could play rock-fusion like this! This CD instantly reminded me of a cross between Jeff Beck and Steve Vai! What an interesting piece of work. It was great to also hear Jerry Goodman on violin on the track Return to Whatever...

...It is a very Mahavishnu/Return To Forever sounding piece played with real excitement here. The opening track is killer too. Great to also hear Neal Morse rock out once again without getting all preachy and spiritual. This is the best thing he's played on since Transatlantic. Who knew his brother was such an amazing artist in his own right. Very Highly recommended! 5 stars out of 5'' ![]() |

absolutely agree with that, from trespass to the lamb lies down, it's a classic collection of supreme prog rock with peter gabriel's intelligent stories running through. Too many favourite tracks to mention, but i love every genesis from 70 to 75

So alan morse is a great composer like his brother. . I actually can see parallels with early american prog and kansas first album with the american school of today, i think kansas broke the ground for prog to develop against the dominance of country or gospel in the southern u.s.a.

neal morse i've continuing respect for, i have grown to love the transatlantic project to appreciate the quality of morse songwriting, i'm really waiting with anticipation to hear what he does with spocks beard, especially now i hear how talented his brother is. . Sounds like prog rock heaven and why this post was started . .

Indeed, i like a bit of obscured by clouds in the evening. Whats just ridiculous is not having any pink floyd on cd, besides the 30th anniv dark side release. . .Gah how silly is that, i've just got them all on old vinyl or cassette. . Tut
