I usta wish I could levitate so I wouldn't have the pressure pains from sitting or laying down

Well,its a bit quiet here so ill add an update.
I had a two level acdf operation on the 11th of may.
Its an anterior (from the front of the neck) cervical (neck) discectomy(complete removal of disc) with fusion.
It was pretty hard waking up afterwards,painful and really fkn hurt to sw*llow anything,I felt like a pez dispenser.
Almost two weeks on now,no neck brace or anything,still sore,like a deep in the bones kind of ache,but getting better.
I have good range of movement despite having basically plastic spacers at c5/6 and c6/7 holding the vertebrae apart,these will take some months for full fusion to occur.
So not something I hope to do again anyway.

I had a couple of tubes inserted into my neck to attach me to a dialysis machine, but that's not really the same.

Is that a regular thing for dialysis,like placement location?

Why?

I'm not sure why that location is chosen, maybe it's just a good strong vein to help the blood pump in and out.

That rhinoplasty comment got me thinking,
Why can't people just accept themselves as they are?
Sure sometimes cosmetic surgery is necessary to alleviate some conditions,pain etc but for the most part I just wonder,why???
My soon to be ex wife is gorgeous,like stunning,but she's always on about botox ,fillers here filler there,liposuction,breast implants,lazer treatment etc....
Its just crazy to me,despite paying for her botox,her fillers and lazer,she's still unhappy within herself and its just sad,it makes me literally sad that she doesn't see how beautiful she actually is.

I have a good friend that had to do kidney dialysis for ages and she had the ports in her abdomen,since had a transplant.

The amount of falls ive had i honestly dontknow how i havnt...Sorry man nah

At best I am plain, on a good day .... But would never do it for vanity reasons, by vanity I mean for no real medical reasons.... Happiness from within doesn't depend on how u look on the outside.

Because my kidneys stopped working.

Did u get a transplant? Or are u still on dialysis?

In the end I didn't need a transplant and no longer need dialysis
