I haven't heard any song off DM on SA radio. The songs are probably too long for sa radio and too heavy seeing as their tracklists are filled with 'artists' such as chris brown and rihana.

Radio 2000 were c*nts for canning Rock of Ages radio show, those 4 hours were amazing. And 5fm for not renewin Barney Simon's contract. c*nts, the whole blood lot of them.

Anyway... Back to the post! Everyone still enjoying Death Magnetic. The guy from opeth said the album is a step backward and attempt to appeal to the old fans. What a crock of s**t, can anyone honestly say the songs on the new album sound like old songs. Not one song is a rehash of a old song, sure some may contain elements of earlier work but nothing is blatantly ripped off. Each song is special and different which is rare for today's albums

You can hear elements from all albums in Death Magnetic and it is definitely one of the best metallica albums, no doubt.

The drums are pretty tight, the guitar work is excellent. The solo's cook. The vocals are top notch. The let down of course is the clipping and poor mixing, however the songs themselves make the album worth listenin to despite the quality.

Every band has their let bad albums, people just go over board with stuff because its metallica you know. James recently said He's sorry that the band didn't release more albums, they toured more than albums ect. But its all good, the albums they have released are good

yeah but metalboy metallica cant do it now likw they used to. every single old classtic metal rock etc bands cant write music like they used to do in there haydays. death magnetic is a wicked album but syill not as good as master of puppets, ride the lighting etc. but metallica done 3 bad albums load re load and st anger
