Ok, so they're testing them in a few cities in th UK, but people like to be in control (which is why they've never really developed it before). What do you guys think? |

I guess it would also depend on who the accident was with. If it was with a normal driver, then you'd still have to take human error into account.

Clarkson actually raised a genuinely interesting point about them. If you are in a car that drives itself and are about to crash into a bunch of kids, not hitting the children means you will be killed. At that point it's up to the car to decide who's life is more valued.

If you are a white passenger and the pedestrian is poor,black,smelly,disabled or a muslim then the passenger gets priority in an upcoming crash. Thats how it will work.
