what is the timeline for the story of noah anyway? the bible was written thousands of years before the first recorded unearthing of a dinosaur fossil, so obviously it was written in a world where dinosaurs didnt even exist. or the theory of evolution.

so in noahs time, humans were around right when the earth was created. but if it is the truth, and not a work of fiction, there would have been dinosaurs on noahs ark anyway. in fct, there would have only been dinosaurs, because not all the creatures of the world have existed simultaneously.

so while all the biblical imagery depicts two elephants, giraffe, lions etc, its wrong- it would have been two tyrannosaurus', two triceratops etc actually no, because humans and man didnt co exist. but it doesnt matter in a story, heck, the dinosaurs could have gone extinct because noah didnt save them. he let them drown because they were too big to get on the boat. yes

dinosaurs and modern animals did co exist, evolution is a lie- noah just sacrificed the dinosaurs, instead deciding to save all 350 species of parrot.

and u need to also understand that callin it a fantasy / story / fiction is also not sayin anythin abt our beliefs.. do u realise how many believers / christians don't believe in an actual adam nd eve, in an actual jonah in the whale, in the beginnin God created the heavens nd the earth as told in the bible...

Its not a biography because it didnt happen and thats a fact. People can still beleive in god though if they wish, just aslong as they accept science and facts aswell.

it was a story about a man being responsible and saving people and animals from impending doom, so they can carry on life! it reflects on what you're prepared to do when faced with dilemnas, do you be selfish and save yourself or be emphatic and save others therefore prolonging life

also, a believer can believe that God created the earth, humans nd animals, while still believin in evolution.

To be honest I don't think it was written to be taken so literally and it was made into a film.
Reminds me of what you'd say to a child to eat his or her greens you'd make up a story to learn from like a story about the man that never ate his greens that turned purple because he didn't get enough oxygen.

There were a few really big flooding events in recentish history, the major one being through the Bosporus Strait. The Black Sea filled up and it bordered on quite a few countries, Turkey being one of them..

god create man in his image and humans evolved from apes. was god evolving too? god cn not be a man because man is a transient being.

in the distant future when man has evolved further and the humans we know today are primitive monkey-like things in comparison, will god still retain his current human form? will jesus still be depicted as the primitive being of thousands of years ago?

or, will future man simply make a new god in their new image?

i already know the answer because history tells us very clearly. look at each culture and look at their dieties. an egyptian diety/got will be depicted as an egyptian. the mayans depicted gods in their own image. western christians depict jesus as a white man. ALL civilisations bar none depict their god in their image.
