Well musik is abt entertainment but da genre which is more entertaining is crunk ..on da issues of collabos r.kelly,ludacris n kidrock did a collabo of rock also da shopboyz did rock(party lyk a rockstar) but dis songs were not hit vice if dis artist do a crunk track many fans appreciate it...project pat got his popularity frm the legends 3 6 mafia bcoz of crunk..dat y crunk is more entertaining

Well it doesn't really matter what it is, my point still stands. It's a passing trend. It happens all the time. Disco, glam rock, grunge, each had their 15 minutes in the mainstream and then faded into obscurity. That's what's going on with the mainstream hiphop today. People are jumping on the crunk and r'n'b bandwagon. But when the boat gets too full it will sink.

The trend will fade and something new will take the dominant role in the mainstream. Just because the 90-2000's gangsta rap isn't the reigning style anymore doesn't mean hiphop is dead. Just like disco, grunge or 30's big band's haven't gone anywhere.

Moshizle i do agre wit u abt da trend thing..da bad think is dat many producers r da 1 who change da style of musik...jay dee has a production industry but da guy works wit many artist,(so so def) da studio started wit hiphop late now it is doing crunk mayb next tym it wil change its flow...same thing apply 2 DR DRE...late hiphop was a great thing but its body n soul should b R.I.P
