Its lyk 120 here in sa. I started buying a new local magazine by the name of purity which sells for 20bucks and comes along with a gr8 cd of local musicians. Magazine is not up to international standards by any means but definitely worth the price

Purity is more of a zine than a full fledged magazine,but its great quality for the price.I cant get onto myspace to hear new local stuff so its refreshing to see something positive in the local metal scene.As for metal hammer,unless i steal it,no way!

I only bought metal hammer once-when it came along with a dvd of music videos. I usually jus sit on the floor of th local cna and read through the mag for a half hour or so

The Uk version is the only decent Metal mag we have in Aust though Revolver isn't too bad either but the yanks are such drama queens it shows in their write ups, can't enjoy the show. I loved it when the Hammer did stickers for a while man i felt like a kid again gettin all excited and s**t, those were the days. I reckon Oz need to do their own s**t instead of doing nothing, it's not cool.

The point of music mags is to introduce you to new bands and music.Or should be anyway.Better that than having MTV tell you what to listen to.MH is okay,rock sound is my favourite
