Now i'm not one for regrets, else i'd live in despair, but do you ever buy something and just find you can never be happy with it? I'm pretty fussy, i don't impulse-buy really, if i do it's only because i've wanted one or it's just really me. Today i went out in a pair of Rockport boots i bought, i don't know, maybe a year ago. Worn them once. I was really happy with my old ones, lived in them. So i bought these as they looked great in the picture. They do not look great on my feet. They don't feel right. They're just not me. I hate them. They were 130 quid and i'd rather wear a pair of 6.99 plimsoles. Anyone else bought something they don't like? |

Also my fave boots,bought a new pair and they were agony to wear. Gave them a few days breaking in time and they were still agony ..cut into my shins. Turns out the English factory that made them had stopped production and they are now made in China.

Also new mudguards for the new bike. Velo Orange, supposed to be good quality. They're rubbish, just thin raw alloy, not even coated, they won't last and they're dull. I'm gonna have to use the chrome ones I've had on three bikes now, which are butchered as a result. |

The appliance from science, everyone in the future will be using it too cook food in. It might ave been the bees knees when they first came out, and boy ya were lucky if ya could afford to buy one. They used to last up to 30 odd years. Without breaking down. Now they doe last 2 month and they can be cheap as chips to buy.
