do you prefer a Mall or a Retail Park? if I really have to go shopping I prefer the latter. can't stand the hum and drum and all that of a Mall. I avoid malls but it's difficult in this city as most of the places are in malls ![]() |

Our mall used to be more interesting, and on my own i could lose myself for days. These days shopping is usually done with a child i don't want getting lost, and financial economies to think about. Not only does Asda (Walmart) sell everything, but it's a stone's throw from a cinema, restaurants, a good pub, a lake and a trampoline park. The half-mile long marblique mall in Central Milton Keynes only really excels for shoes and.. a kind of nostalgia. |

I don't like malls, retail parks, or high streets. I avoid them like the plague. I only use supermarkets once in a blue moon too because they try too hard to sell junk that isn't actually needed. Prefer to shop online, support the second hand market (again usually online) especially for clothes, console games, electronics etc or if I can't get second hand I try to support small independent businesses (which I usually find by looking online) I get my food and drinks delivered straight to my door every week so don't have to go anywhere for them, and I leave the packaging out so it can be collected and reused by the companies I buy the products from. |

I just can't get the online shopping thing. as much as i don't like shopping, I still like to see and feel the product in my hands before I buy it. I am so oudedoos lol

That makes sense ladi.. I research the crap out of anything I plan on buying. The last thing I spent money on was yoga kit and I spent 3 weeks researching what things were made of, and reading reviews from other people who bought them. Impulse shopping always gave me a buzz but I regret it afterwards.. Recently had a big clear out and trying to be happy with what I have. :) |

I still prefer going in to town, walking round the high streets, the shopping centres and the market square. All these big retail parks and 'malls' lack any character |

I miss going to the mall. With my stupid work hours, I hardly ever get a chance to go unless it's the weekend.

I prefer to shop online, I'm too easily distracted in amongst people, and end up wasting money.
