I use to only listen to rock and metal,but got hooked on hip hop,and glad i found true artistry away from all the mainstream bubblegum. Try get Yak ballz-scifentology1 or 2, prolyphic and reanimator-the ugly truth, anything from sapient or sandpeople, atmosphere-god loves ugly, anything from sage francis. . You might also like eyedea and abilities new album-by the throaght..

Most rock artists listen to rap, likewise with Hip Hop artists, they like metal too. That's what you call real music artists, people that love everything to do with music not just one genre, r*tards.

From a metal head. As been listed a few times Immortal Technique, Some of 'Nas' is ok, Savage, Talib Kweli ( early 2000s late 90s) basically if you hear them on the top 40 it aint worth listening too, much like metal. There are a few good artists out there that dont cr*p on about 'cappin ' and 'slammin hoes' unfortunatly you have to look for them

At least us true metalheads and Rap fans have this in common, we have to wade through alot of s**t to get to something worth listening too. I suspect this is why underground artists of both genres respect each other.

Savage is cr*p! Lol. Immortal Technique is dope, so is Pharaoah Monche. Jiggas 'Unreasonable Doubt' is better than the rest of his albums. Talib is the one you'd definately want to check out.
