I can only see them in photos and in the movies. They must be really looking great and amazing, especially the scenic drives. Must be extremely cold, too.

Come and visit when you have the chance. Even I havent explored much places here yet since I came years ago.

Monday's morning hike.

I've no doubt there's some serious flooding about, atm.

Flooding is well controlled in this new town, but our defenses are being tested - I took this pic yesterday morning, and should've been able to ride along an access road here. There's the road, two paths, and a small river (ouze).

We went to the central viewpoint to check out a rainbow yesterday, the end appeared to land on a Land Rover dealership in Newport Pagnell...

Aggh, man! You guys have all these lovely sights and I'm literally stuck within a radius of 5km.
You lot have safe roads, beaches within 70km-80km, and a friendly atmosphere.
I have none of that!

In the UK, you're never more than 70miles from the coast.

I havent travelled much yet to know but I am hearing some friends saying theyd rather go overseas than exploring NZ due to high transport and accomodation expenses. I have heard the South Island is really lovely, though. I hope I could go there very soon.

I did have dreams of just 'taking off' subsisting on just a bank card but this isn't feasible.

We went up Brichen Bank on Sunday, looking for fairies. We didn't find any.
