I worry about the sanity of normal people that care more about poor people claiming a few quid pocket money a week to survive than they do about billionaires and millionaires not paying their taxes, even though the latter costs the nation a lot more money. Why align themselves to billionaires ffs ![]() |

I must admit my sympathies do lie with the french , if i had fished somewhere for decades and then was denied that right because of a political settlement then i would be most unhappy

Why are they so angry at the UK? They should have seen it coming post Brexit, it's clearly their own incompetence in issuing proper channels to the French fisherman and/or renegotiating deals with UK, and they seem to be projecting their own anger out on the UK.

But probably not really big news as nothing is ever going to come of this posturing. Just more petulant post-Brexit saber rattling by the French. Probably just trying to create noise ahead of election season.

The uk hasn't stuck by the agreements. We've been very sliw issuing licences and we've added restrictions, such as days at see and restricted fishing zones, that were not in the agreement. |

We've been very sliw issuing licences and we've added restrictions, such as days at see and restricted fishing zones, that were not in the agreement. But that's not their first time doing this either. The French fishermen have been doing this consistently for decades before brexit even came into play. In 2003, they blocked channel ports and saw several ferries cancelled, then again in 2009, and then again in 2013. It looks like it can be a deemed a classic case of having the cake and eating it too. |

Plus jersey was never in the EU and never even voted in the referrendum. Is it even really considered part of the UK?

Farage looks down at you (with distain) and obligingly ladels in a few more lies about immigrants and you gladly take it all in. Then you waddle away, head full of sh*t feeling all satisfied. |
