Yes, 'Starless' is a very good track. There is also a KC track named 'Starless And Bible Black' from the same-title previous album, in 1974 too. But its music is way different. Anyway, today i bought the KC live ''Earthbound'', recorded in 1972. I didnt listen it yet. Its from the '30th Anniversary Edition' series. ![]() |

I have 15 KC albums, the 11 of them are '30th Anniversary Editions', and i bought them in very good price, 9.50 euros each. The albums are 24Bit remasters by Fripp in HDCD format. What edition is your 'Red' Playfan? I think there is out the '40th Anniversary Edition' with bonus disk ![]() |

Yeah mine is the 30th edition @Anduan...It's a great remaster though I'd love to hear the new Steven Wilson remaster even more...

as well as using Porcupine Tree like atmospherics...It's like an ultra souped up Liquid Tension Experiment though I wouldn't really compare the music of the two but possibly their respective outcomes of making an instrumental progressive metal disc...Recommended.

Actually I hear quite a Planet X influence in here too, that's actually closest to what this album is like - highly technical polyrhythmic workouts with some nice atmospheric interludes...Not always a completely satisfying listen but great to hear what musicians are capable of doing on their instruments these days

i find it a little odd that they put out a dvd from a show 2 years ago (nearly) and an old album, having had plently of time to include the 'incident' tour songs from last winter.. it could have been a double set from both tours, instead it feels like old news.. blank planet came out a few years ago now and it's been vastly surpassed by their latest offering

if they don't release something of the amazing 'incident ' tour (which worked even better as a complete live piece than it does on record) it'll be an oppurtunity missed. However, it's still very much worth paying for. A pretty lenghty set (as opposed to the hour or so on some dvd's) which made the hairs on my next stand on end several times.. interesting was the role of additional guitarist

John Wesley, who takes vocals on some tracks and has a higher register voice which i'd have liked to hear on the records themselves.. I don't know what his dayjob is or whether he waits for the call to go play live and that's it.. but he'd make a great addition to the band proper.

first its just stock cheesy footage in a studio, but then it morphs into this really arty black and white film , just from nowhere.. i'd say 'ambitious' but its actually terribly 80's and pretentious, so very funny... Squire becomes a snake at one point
