East coast style was always deeper and darker than west that's why I think it.s better west was very commercial to make money where east was for the love of hiphop !!

I dont think it was commercial at all. Just a completely different sound.

Of course the East is better, it always has been, that's where it all started. I love G-Funk but lyrically the East Coast rappers are levels above the rest.
