''Well, we were able to get the vaccine rolled out faster'' is what Boris and the rest all said and some are still trying to claim that to this day, despite it being proven definitively that leaving the EU made absolutely no difference at all to the time it took to do because we were still acting under EU laws at that time anyway and nothing the government here did served to speed it up in any way, shape or form.

In theory, they might have been able to speed it up if they'd enacted any fresh new UK legislation to facilitate that happening but they hadn't introduced any then.

I've had covid this week (yes, again), it was nasty for two days, and six days in i have very little left in the way of symptoms. Not bothering with painkillers today. Covid is still about. Personally i don't jab, this bout then is my latest naturally taken booster... If you jab and you're not up to date, here's a head's-up that it's doing the rounds. And it's not the best time of year to be catching it. |
