@siig.... First tell me why the hell do u consider urself as an intruder?...lol..... And every senior members here know very well that who are the intruders..... I never meant u anyways......

@siig.... When we use radio, the headphone works as a loop antenna.... With that theory, just take a 2.5mm jack of any damaged headphone..... Now connect the two lines of the antenna with the two lines of the jack (any of the left speaker output or right speaker output)..... Simple, isn't it?

jupiter any antena's wire can be joined in headset's two wire matching the size existing wires both left and right but so far i know this will need support of any out door antena to have the strong signal idea and person have to listen music sitting in a fixed chair and table idea it cnt be carried out side.Its my personal openion,if wrong pls ignore it

Astoundingly.Great hypothesis.Plausible results.Music's more detailed,less of the background flapping and some new stations among them.(ps,i'm just using a iron rod wrapped with wire connecting the wire ends for I fancy antennas on the go)

Siig i think u can make it wrapping best quality copper wire generally used to make radio medium wave antena coil on ceramic tube instead of iron rod,i think that will be better for receiving high quality signal idea

@jupiter2 | 30 May 09 |
No@palmhot..... Wr*ping copper wire will make it a medium frequency receiver just like the one used in MW radios.... And MW and FM is way different in terms of frequency.... If u have any tv antenna, it will do much better.... Though I've made my FM antenna according to the YAGI formula.... And @palm, thats what I've said to do....

Nope it's just iron and worst quality copper,and it's doing well enough.@jup,nice formulae. ![]() |

More over fm radio is a doll not fit for good sound and transmission of its programme is not so well.Im using radio mundu/virtual in my another handset those are 3g and wifi more super than fm radio.Nokia should provide such radios in their handset which already have gprs or edge i think.Listening of fm radio using headset is prejudicious to ear as well as to brain,it may cause deafness gradually.Perhaps you are aware of that if you call a radio technician using normal voice,he will surely fail

@palm nokia already had implemented virtual radios in edge enabled phone's.. Old models are left.. Though

@palm..... What are saying?.... FM is not fit for good sound?!!!!..... FM means Frequency Modulation, so u will get much stable and crystal clear STEREO sound in FM frequency.... And bcoz of the superior sound quality, FM is used in most wireless audio systems.... If ur FM sound is not clear than it might be station transmitter's fault or weak signal problem.... Here we get crystal clear STEREO sound just like hearing mp3s from the set......

@palm.... And who said u must always need to listen FM only with the headset?.... U can switch on the loudspeaker anytime if the headset causing problems in ur ears.....

@siig... I wish If u were here, I would have made an antenna for u and sometimes we could listen some worst channels together....lol

Yes.Forget frequency modulation,stuff I don't understand..Mhz means million cycles per second,which simply means that the sound is updated (frequency x 1000000) times per second,or you can fit in (frequency x 1000000) notes in one second.Meaning each and every note(anybody heard any mp3 with more than one million notes per sec?) therefore is played out.Crystal clear,as jupiter said.

@siignore | 30 May 09 |
Prob is all one million notes aren't picked up in small antennas,and where signals are weak you need larger antennas and proper conduction to receive atleast decent audio.

Thanks to all this tips really helps to know about fm radio and its quality,every one should read it.I specially thanks to siig and jupiter for discussing elaborately about configuration of stations,way to enhance signal strength as well as changing of practice to listen the music or programme of fm radio stations.

Exactly i made yagi uda n rhombic antennas durin my proj. days wit 4 directors n a reflectors of resistive impedance 300ohms got a gain of 15-17db wit out preamplifying 7mhz required for tv channel can be obtained ![]() |
