I find myself fighting in the ring. Muay Thai. I've had 6 fights by now. But that kick to my solar plex was so hard that the pain hasn't subsided after 3 days. I can't even train or work right now. I can't get up. But I need to. Otherwise this boredom will consume me.

It's war. There is only so much satisfaction you can get from fighting. From fu*king. From drugs. From egotistical endeavors designed to elevate your status above other beings. And then what? Then where does it go from there? Bleak despair. We're the spoiled children of the world. Our worse problems are existential meaninglessness and boredom. While people halfway across the world suffer from atrocities that render their existence pure suffering. Palestine. Ukraine. Anywhere else. Children. Innocent people. Yet here I am contemplating like a fu*king pseudo-intellectual Nietzsche from the comfort of my bed with a few broken ribs. |
