rock. seems to be much more meaning in the songs. it all just screaming! i guess i just relate more to the rocker lyrics and song meaning. i do like a little hiphop though. common and nas a 2 really good hiphop lyricists.

my opinion: rap and hiphop doesn t use its full potencial.it can be extended in so many ways. just look at what linkin park done. metal allready has most of the force but not all.not all.both genres have yet to be defined - and combined! as is now,hip-hop doesn t have the edge or the flexibility seen in metal.instead of fight,come on and reunite cause rock or hip hop or metal,it is just music

at here i feel to answer this u gota check out the difficulty level in the playing of instrument or vocals. i think its safe to say metal is the tricky one to master overall. but then again its all music at the end of the day.

why is this even a debate ... hip hop isnt music its pain to the ears ... rock is music with people playing instruments and producing something that sounds good when played together its not just a few beats thats sampled over and over again unlike hip hop
